In our sheet plant, coir Pads with thickness starting from 4 mm to 200 mm can be processed, using natural rubber latex as the binding medium. The coir fibre is interlocked in our sheet plant by means of a
needling attachment for better coir orientation during fleece formation. Adequate latex is sprayed calculating the pressurized air and the latex compound flow per minute to determine the hardness of the
pads required. This latex compound with vulcanizing agents form the desired crosslink between fibre orientations in the pads. Coir is in the form of cellulosic tubes, which absorb atmospheric moisture by
capillary action. This characteristic function makes the coir mattresses cooler by 2-3 degree centigrade than the room temperature. Pores formed by the fibre orientation offer air circulation in` the
